Levittown Soccer Club Soccer Stars provides players with mental, physical, or developmental disabilities the opportunity to learn, play, and enjoy the game of soccer in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Our Soccer Stars Buddies play an important role in helping each athlete participate to the best of their ability. Buddies are paired with or assigned to support Soccer Stars athletes during program sessions and provide individual assistance, encouragement, and companionship as needed.
Buddy responsibilities may include helping an athlete with soccer activities and equipment, providing physical guidance such as holding a player's hand, offering encouragement, and communicating with parents/guardians and program staff to better understand how to support the athlete.
Volunteer hours may be used toward school service, community service, or Levittown Soccer Club service requirements. Registration is required for all Soccer Stars Buddies.
