Levittown Developmental Program Philosophy:

The Levittown Soccer Developmental Program isa training program available toour intramural players inspecific age groups. The primary purpose ofthe Developmental Program istoassist each individual player on improving and advancing their soccer skill level. The emphasis willbe ondeveloping well rounded players that continue togrow and develop a love for the game of
soccer Every effort is made to keep the trainer to player ratio small to benefit the players. We want to offer the best training opportunity possible in a positive fun atmosphere.

Training:

The Levittown Soccer Club uses the NY Red Bulls to provide professional trainers from their Red Bull Training Academy. All the training will be player centered meaning that attention is focused on each individual player. Training plans areprepared
and executed and will be adjusted where necessary.

We do try to provide competition for these children when possible, but the emphasis is primarily
player development.

The 6-year-old program works as a continuation of the Snoopy Program. Clinics are offered seasonally based upon participation interest and facility availability. These clinics are an opportunity for players to continue training with the Red Bulls Academy trainers focusing on continued improvement of individual skills.

The next step in the Developmental Program for 7 and 8-year-old children consists oftraining with their respective age group during the Fall, Winter (indoor) and Spring seasons. Each age group will compete in friendlies with other programs with like philosophies on player development when possible. Players will also participate in a Festival or Tournament at
the end of the Spring season if an event is available. Players in this program will continue to play in the Levittown Intramural Program with their intramural team.

A Developmental Program for 9-year-old children will be offered should there be enough registrants. This program will continue the model of previous programs and will consist of training during the Fall, Winter (indoor) and Spring seasons.
A Summer Season Developmental Program will be offered and will run should there be enough registrants. In addition, developmental summer clinics will be held based on facility and trainer availability along with a minimum of 12 players registered.
